Creating or acquiring a good business can be an excellent method of increasing cash-flow and profits particularly if your long term objective is to sell it.

Just be careful in this type of business because you are trading your time for money which is really no different than being tied to the “job“! A better way may be to develop a value added type of billing system.
Creating a business can take much energy, focus, hard work and capital. Knowing exactly what it is you want to do you may help you to find a business that already exists. You could acquire it and start reaping the benefits immediately. Sometimes businesses change hands because of illness of the proprietors, retirement or they are just tired of being in the same industry.
Understand and focusing on what it is you do well – your core competence – will generate results even faster. Take purposeful action. Not just any action, but action with purpose will get you to where you want to be.
